About

I’m a bi-racial black and German writer, editor & studying librarian based in Los Angeles. I have a BA in Writing, Literature, and Publishing from Emerson College. In 2022, I received a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from The New School. Currently I am working to get my masters in Library and Information Science at San Jose State University.

For almost ten year I have been a member of the LA Poets and Writers Collective. I work as an editor for the award wining khōréō, a speculative literary magazine.

I love writing stories about horror, family, and the Afro-diaspora. I've been working on a novel about vampires. My micro-essay "This Time" won first place in the New Orlean Review. Previous awards include “Who is BROWN GIRL?” which won third place in the Women on Writing Flash Fiction Contest.

When I'm not writing, I'm usually reading manga or embarking on some silly Dungeons and Dragons adventure with my friends.
